Cubbie Ag Joins Oritain’s Gold Membership Program

Oritain, global leaders in forensic origin verification, today announced that Cubbie Ag, Australia's largest irrigated cotton property, has joined Oritain's Membership Program at Gold level, reinforcing their focus on responsible production, supply chain transparency and independent verification of cotton origin. 

Cubbie Ag is located near Dirranbandi in south-west Queensland within the Murray–Darling Basin, operating across approximately 93,000 hectares, with around 22,000 hectares under irrigation. Recognised for its innovative production methods and strong sustainability credentials, Cubbie Ag takes great pride in producing cotton of distinctive quality. It is one of approximately 1,500 cotton farms in Australia and, in strong seasons, can contribute up to 6% of the nation's total cotton production. 

In 2026, Cubbie Ag further strengthened its sustainability credentials by achieving  RegenAgri certification, having been independently audited against a recognised regenerative agriculture standard and committing to continuous improvement across its operations. 

Cubbie Ag has worked with Oritain since February 2024 to support the integrity of its cotton through independent, science-based origin verification, and in 2026 expanded this commitment as one of Oritain's Gold Members. Through this program, samples are collected from across Cubbie Ag's farming operations and combined to create a unique Cubbie Ag origin fingerprint. This fingerprint enables forensic verification of Cubbie Ag cotton throughout the supply chain, from ginned lint and yarn through to fabric and finished product.
