We’re expanding our global sales teams and seeking a dynamic L&D specialist to partner with our Sales organisation. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in designing, delivering, and managing innovative onboarding and continuous learning programs that directly contribute to business growth. You’ll collaborate closely with our L&D team, sales leadership, global commercial enablement, and people and culture teams to ensure that training initiatives align with strategic goals, boost productivity, and optimise the sales organisation.
Using cutting-edge authoring tools, you’ll craft engaging, interactive, and scalable learning experiences tailored for a modern salesforce. We’re looking for someone who has successfully transitioned from a sales role into L&D, bringing first-hand sales experience and a passion for developing top-tier talent.
Here’s what you’ll be doing
Program Design and Delivery
- Design and develop compelling training programs—including workshops and e-learning courses—for Sales Teams, ensuring regular updates and enhancements to keep content fresh and impactful.
- Leverage various instructional techniques to boost engagement and drive long-term knowledge retention across all learners.
- Tailor and deliver training sessions that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring a personalised approach that meets your audience's unique needs.
- Conduct dynamic in-person and virtual training sessions to drive user adoption and maximise productivity with key CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Lead the creation and execution of onboarding programs for new sales hires, ensuring they are fully trained on essential sales tools, processes, and methodologies from day one.
Systems and Process Development:
- Oversee and optimise our Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure seamless delivery, tracking, and management of all training initiatives.
- Develop scalable processes and guidelines that standardise training programs, ensuring team consistency and alignment.
- Maintain detailed training records and performance reports to monitor progress, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, commercial enablement, people and culture, and other key departments to ensure that L&D initiatives fully align with overall organisational objectives.
- Engage and communicate with Business Partners to promote L&D programs, fostering team participation and commitment.
- Act as a trusted resource and advisor on learning and development best practices, providing expert guidance to support continuous growth and development.
Learning Culture Promotion:
- Champion a continuous learning and professional growth culture throughout the organisation, inspiring teams to embrace development opportunities.
- Lead and promote initiatives like mentorship programs, lunch-and-learn sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums, creating dynamic spaces for collaboration and growth.
- Encourage and support employees in their pursuit of professional development opportunities.
Evaluation and Improvement:
- Measure and assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Refine and enhance training materials and methods based on insights, feedback, and emerging industry best practices.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest trends and innovations in learning and development, ensuring our programs remain cutting-edge and impactful.
What we're looking for:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development, Sales Training, or a related role.
- Ideally, you’ve transitioned from a sales role into a Sales Training position, bringing first-hand knowledge of the sales process.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing impactful sales training programs, with a solid grasp of sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, MEDDIC/MEDDPIC, or Challenger.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Experienced in instructional design methodologies and tools like ELUCIDAT and similar platforms is essential
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage learners.
- Proficient in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Willing and able to travel internationally to our global offices when required (up to 25%)
- This is a hybrid role, with three days a week at our dog-friendly Farringdon offices.
