Join Us as Global Head of People Operations – A Global Opportunity to Lead and Transform

Are you ready to make an impact on a global stage? We're looking for a dynamic, experienced, and strategic leader to step into the role of GlobalHead of People Operations, based in our London office. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer (CPO) in the UK, this is your opportunity to lead and shape our People and Culture strategy across our regions – EMEA, the US and APAC.  You’ll oversee all aspects of people operations, from leading and developing the People and Culture and Talent Acquisition team to spearheading operational improvements and tackling complex employee relations issues and projects. Striking a balance between strategic leadership and hands-on operational support, this role is ideal for someone with a proven ability to navigate both high-level strategy and practical HR challenges with confidence and expertise.

This is a hybrid role, working from our Farringdon offices 3 days a week.

What You'll Do

As the Global Head of People Operations, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our people strategy and driving operational excellence. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and develop our People and Culture teams across multiple regions, providing coaching, guidance, and support.
  • Oversee Payroll Excellence: Ensure the accuracy of global payrolls in the UK, US, and New Zealand, identifying and implementing operational improvements.
  • Shape Global Initiatives: Support key people projects including performance reviews, engagement plans, change management, and reward strategies.
  • Manage Talent Acquisition: Oversee the talent acquisition team, enhance our Employer Value Proposition (EVP), and create a best-in-class recruitment experience.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as the trusted advisor to the CPO, playing a senior key role in driving the delivery of our global people strategy.
  • Resolve Complex Challenges: Partner with senior leaders to handle intricate employee relations issues and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Develop people metrics, analyse trends, and implement strategies to enhance engagement and performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, systems, reporting, and policy development to ensure global compliance.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of employment laws and industry trends in the UK, US, and New Zealand, adapting policies and practices accordingly.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who can seamlessly blend strategic vision with hands-on execution. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Senior-Level Expertise: Proven experience as a Head of People Operations or similar (5+ years)  managing employee relations, payroll, and HR policies across global regions, plus additional HR experience (7+ years). CIPD qualified would be a plus
  • Global Acumen: Global HR experience, including the US market and employment legislation is a must. Experience of working with APAC/ANZ teams is highly advantageous.
  • Leadership Excellence: A track record of managing HR teams across time zones and driving people-focused projects like technology implementation, engagement strategies, and transformation initiatives.
  • Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with HiBob (HRIS) and Workable (ATS) is advantageous.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Outstanding communication and engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, from C-suite to employees.
  • Initiative and Proactivity: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Flexibility to Travel: Willingness to visit our global offices as required.
