We have 2 Service Delivery Manager roles on offer. 1) a full-time permanent position and 2) a 12-month fixed term maternity cover position. These roles are based at our Dunedin office in Delivery Operations. In the role, you will work closely with our Client Engagement and Science Teams to meet our Clients contractual deliverables. You stay connected with Clients and Third Parties, organising and planning the execution of these deliverables across our food, fashion and pharmaceutical Clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Translate customer requirements into the collection event and coordinate other activities as needed
  • Identify and manage risks and impediments that affect scope, schedule, and quality
  • Coordinate interdepartmental resources liaising with other Delivery Managers and Team Managers if required
  • Supports oversight and accountability of workflows and resources and the deliverables involved in execution
  • Maintain delivery momentum by solving issues, unblocking problems and setting the pace to ensure DIFOT against commitments
  • Lead continual delivery planning processes. Plan beyond product delivery
  • Identify dependencies in plans across services and coordinate delivery. Anticipate and mitigate potential friction points and blockages
  • Proven experience in applying Agile and Lean practices. Working level ability to visualise and make visible the work of the team.
  • Prior commercial experience in one, or a mixture of the following fields: Account Management, Delivery Management, Project Management, Logistics, Science/Laboratory or Data Management
  • Strong business acumen with a commitment and drive to achieve professional and company goals
  • A flexible and adaptable interpersonal style to influence others, share ideas and problem solve
  • Demonstrated resiliency and ability to work with multiple demands comfortably
  • A strong team player
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential
  • Proficiency in another language (or two) would be highly advantageous
  • A minimum of intermediate level using business tools, systems and platforms in the MS Office Suite, and a must have requirement is experience with Atlassian package (Confluence, Trello)
