Lauren Parker

Director, SJ and Fairchild Studios, Sourcing Journal

Lauren Parker is director at Sourcing Journal, where she produces projects to help clients best communicate their thought leadership, from webinars and fireside chats to event speaking engagements, reports, articles and more. She has spent most of her career in B2B fashion business publishing, covering the industry’s many facets.

Her work has also appeared in trade publications like WWD, FootwearPlus, Accessories, EyeWear, National Jeweler, Earnshaws, JCK, and newspapers including The New York Times and Washington Post. She holds a B.S. in Communications from Cornell University.

Ben Tomkins

VP Retail Sales, Oritain

Ben Tomkins is the Vice President of Retail Sales at Oritain. Having spent five years in Oritain's London office, Ben then relocated to Washington D.C. to support the roll-out of the company's first US office. Ben now works primarily in the fashion and cotton industry, with a focus on North America.

A core area of Ben’s work is supporting major US importers in ensuring they meet relevant compliance requirements, whilst underpinning their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives. Prior to Oritain, Ben studied Business Finance at the Henley Business School.
