EUDR and the Beef Industry

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) bans the exportation from or sale in the EU market of cattle (and other products) that have been produced on deforested land. Cattle ranching causes more deforestation than any of the other commodities covered by the EUDR. Exporters of beef products to the EU will need to comply with the EUDR or face penalties.
