Senior Employee Experience Partner - 9 month FTC
People and Culture
Contract
Clerkenwell, England, United Kingdom
Our vision is to be the source of truth in global supply chains. To achieve this, we work with some of the world's largest and most valuable brands to support their ESG commitments, reduce the risk of fraud and unethical practices, and protect their reputations. As a global leader in product verification, we have locations in Auckland, Dunedin, London, Singapore and Washington, D.C.
Our unique solution provides data insights and scientific traceability that help some of the biggest brands in the world understand more about where their products originate from. It helps build trust and integrity within their supply chains while reducing the impact on the environment and society by tackling issues such as deforestation and modern slavery in supply chains. We are an innovative data company with big global ambition, and we need people who share our passion for being commercially successful and creating a powerful positive impact.
As Oritain continues its exciting global growth, we're looking for an experienced Senior Employee Experience Partner to join us on a 9-month Fixed-term contract. If you're passionate about creating a workplace where people feel valued, included, and inspired to thrive, we want to hear from you. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and executing strategies that drive engagement, foster inclusion, and fuel organisational success; you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you'll lead the development and delivery of a global strategy that empowers our teams to perform at their best every day. Are you ready to contribute to something meaningful while making a difference across the globe?
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute an employee experience strategy: Design and deliver a global strategy that reflects Oritain’s values and vision, ensuring we offer a world-class employee experience for all colleagues.
- Lead engagement initiatives: Oversee our Global Engagement Forum, working closely with employee representatives to shape initiatives that create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Oversee employee insights and action plans: Manage our employee engagement surveys, analyse insights, and drive meaningful action plans to ensure continuous improvement in engagement and retention.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I): Develop and execute innovative DE&I programs that embed these values into our culture globally, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunities.
- Create and lead DE&I networks: Establish and oversee employee networks that encourage collaboration and continuous improvement in DE&I practices.
- Embed organisational culture and values: Develop initiatives and policies that align with and strengthen our company values, weaving them into daily people practices and decision-making.
- Promote wellbeing and performance: Lead initiatives prioritising employee wellbeing while driving engagement and organisational performance across our global teams.
- Collaborate globally: Work across regions to ensure alignment with business goals and the unique needs of our teams in the UK, US, and APAC regions.
What we’re looking for:
- HR leadership experience: At least 10 years of experience in HR, with 2–3 years focused on Employee Experience or Engagement in a global context.
- Proven strategic expertise: A track record of developing and executing successful strategies that enhance workplace culture, engagement, and DE&I.
- Global exposure: Experience working on global initiatives, particularly across the UK and US; APAC experience is highly desirable.
- DE&I track record: You have successfully delivered impactful DE&I programs that drive measurable improvements.
- Exceptional project management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Strong communicator: Outstanding communication skills to engage and influence at all levels, from employees to C-suite executives.
- Educational background: Degree-qualified, ideally in HR Management, People Science, or an MBA, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and employee engagement strategies.
- Adaptable and collaborative: A proactive team player who can work flexibly and collaboratively across global teams.
- Willingness to travel: Based in our Farringdon offices three days a week, travel internationally (to the US and New Zealand) when required.
This is more than just a role – it’s your opportunity to shape a workplace culture that empowers people, drives global success, and ensures Oritain is recognised as an outstanding place to work. If you’re ready to make a difference, let’s talk!
