We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk based at our Dunedin office to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing Oritain's financial transactions and revenue operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions and reconciliation of revenue accounts.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to treasury and revenue management.
  • Liaise with our banking partners around treasury management including but not limited to term deposits and forward exchange contracts.
  • Monitoring and managing multi-currency cash flow accounts.
  • Preparing financial & revenue insight reports and analysis related to treasury and revenue activities.
  • Manage new customer setup & maintenance, ensuring invoice requests and credits notes are processed accurately and reconciled within deadlines.
  • Assisting with the management of customer billing processes and timely invoicing.
  • Manage debtors along with resolving customer billing queries.
  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts.
  • Monitoring and analysing customer payments and following up on outstanding invoices.
  • Support with annual audit processes.
  • Supporting the finance team in other areas as required.

About you:

  • 3+ years spent in a fast-paced accounts team, with strong experience across billing & debtor functions.
  • Ideally have prior experience in multi-currency treasury management and revenue accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that go beyond simply processing. You will have strong technical knowledge and to be able to grasp and apply concepts, thinking critically and methodically.
  • With your naturally calm manner, you will have the ability to manage your workload effectively, balancing your obligations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders with ease,
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, ideally in one or more of the following: SAP, Oracle, Sage Evolution or Net Suite.
  • Intermediate literacy level in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn other business specific systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and friendly personality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, and be confident to provide support to a high level within a complex environment.
