Product Manager
Digital Product Development
Full-time
London, England, United Kingdom
Oritain is the global leader in product verification, with locations in Auckland, Dunedin, London, Singapore and Washington D.C. Our vision is to be the source of truth in global supply chains and our mission is to harness science, technology and services to create a community of origin verified buyers and suppliers, protecting our people and planet.
Sustainability isn’t just about tackling climate change; it represents a growing conscience around our actions and the impact they have on people, animals and the planet. The personal, professional and governmental move to sustainable practice is driven by a desire to change our impact on the world, but we can’t do this without knowing the certainty of our actions. Transparency is one way of holding ourselves accountable, but for it to be effective, it must be underpinned by proven traceability. Our scientific traceability does just that. Working with Mother Nature, we help brands across fashion, food, and pharmaceutical industries verify the origin and authenticity of their products and raw materials. With this verified truth, brands are empowered to make changes across their supply chain to operate more sustainably and pass those assurances onto their consumers.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of Oritain’s membership offering and program design. This is not a traditional digital product role, it’s a unique opportunity to work across science, data, and commercial teams to define the experience, standards, and operational backbone that underpin our evolving service model.
In this role, you will help architect the systems, insights, and frameworks that define what membership means at Oritain, from how we assess risk, deliver value, and benchmark performance, to how we scale and standardize our services across industries.
You’ll play a critical role in turning scientific expertise and analytical tools into scalable, programmatic products, helping to establish the next generation of trust, compliance, and traceability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for Oritain’s membership model, working across science, product, and commercial functions
- Partner with science and data science teams to shape and improve decision-support tools, models, and platforms
- Define and iterate on the experience and framework of membership: what it means, what value it provides, how it scales
- Identify digitisation opportunities and ensure operational tools and client-facing features align with the membership strategy
- Translate complex processes into clear, consistent, and measurable programs that can be operationalized across clients
- Work with stakeholders to define success metrics, adherence thresholds, and evolving standards of service
- Support strategic initiatives that aim to define and influence industry-wide expectations for compliance and transparency
- Guide prioritisation of emerging opportunities - from AI-driven insight delivery to generative workflows - within the broader marketplace vision
- A systems thinker who enjoys structuring ambiguity into clear frameworks, programs, or products
- Comfortable working across domains — scientific, engineering, commercial — to unify efforts around a shared strategy
- Commercially aware and deeply curious about how services, standards, and data can come together to deliver client value
- Able to lead without authority and build trust across multiple teams and disciplines
- Comfortable with both high-level strategy and operational detail
- Analytical mindset; familiar with working alongside data scientists, business analysts or technical experts
- Experience in B2B, compliance, supply chain, ESG, or standards-based industries is a strong plus
- 5+ years in product management, service design, program development, or a related strategic function
- Proven success managing complex products, frameworks, or service models in a cross-functional environment
- Experience with data, analytics, or scientific environments
- Experience in membership, certification, subscription, or platform models is a bonus but not essential
- 27 days annual leave + your birthday off
- Health Cash Plan & Life Insurance
- 2 paid volunteer days per year
- A dog-friendly London office
- Learning & Development opportunities
